ValuedVoice Negotiators
Motivational speaking is a $1.9B industry.
Are you getting paid the right value for your voice?
Do you get paid for your expertise?
A professional with at least 5 years of experience or a go-getter with a life full of lessons is bound to get presented with speaking opportunities, especially if you’re also a published author!
You are seen as an expert, and people want to hear from you. But don’t be so quick to say “yes” without making it a mutually beneficial opportunity and getting the right value for your voice.
Does any of this sound like you?
When you are asked to speak, are you in a conundrum about asking for a fee?
Are you unsure of how much you should charge? Do you not view yourself as a professional speaker and question if you should charge at all for speaking? Does it not feel right to ask for money “just to talk”?
But do you see others commanding big checks for their speaking engagements, wishing that could be you?
Are you tired of not getting paid what you know you’re worth as a speaker? Do you get uncomfortable when it’s time to talk money? Or do you avoid or ignore the topic altogether?
Do you trip over your words when discussing your speaker fee?
Do you suddenly start to sound less confident or unsure of yourself? Do you kick yourself, feeling like the talk about money could have gone much better?
Do you worry that the good impression they have of you will shift once the conversation turns to money?
Are you worried that you may ask for too much and offend them or scare them off? But do you also walk away from some calls feeling like you didn’t ask for enough, thereby, wondering if you tainted your reputation. Are you concerned people will think they got you at a bargain, diminishing the brand value?
Or are you thoroughly disappointed with your current compensation?
Do you leave the stage knowing you are worth more? Are you presented with alternate forms of compensation that are nowhere near what you, your brand, and your message are worth? Or do you speak for free, wishing you’d asked for a fee? And does this happen because the topic of money never comes up? Oor is it because you are afraid to broach the topic and command the right pay for the value you bring to an audience?
We change all of that.

The money conversation is much easier and far more successful when someone conducts the conversations on the speaker’s behalf. A ValuedVoice sales associate removes all emotions and speaks from a business point of view, yielding a more profitable engagement and more respect for the speaker.
